1. Who We Are

NexusHQ is a product of LPB Tax and Accounting Services, operated by Nicolette Yeardé, CPA, EA, MTax, Certified AI Consultant, QuickBooks ProAdvisor. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information you provide when using NexusHQ at this application. For questions, contact us at lpbservices.com or via the Contact page.

2. What We Collect

When you use NexusHQ, we may collect the following:

  • Business information: business name, tax years, sales channels, and registered states
  • Contact information: your email address, used to identify your submission
  • Sales data: state-by-state sales figures you provide via CSV upload. Your CSV is parsed in your browser and stored as structured data within your submission record. It is not stored as a separate file. This data is the core input used to perform your nexus analysis.
  • Usage data: general app usage information for operational monitoring and improvement

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To generate your free nexus summary and full Nexus and Exposure Blueprint
  • To display your report on screen and allow you to download it
  • To provide follow-up communication about your nexus situation, if applicable
  • To improve the accuracy and performance of NexusHQ
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your sales data for any purpose other than generating your analysis.

4. How We Store and Protect Your Data

Your data is stored in a secure cloud database. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. We limit access to your submission data to authorized personnel only. Submission and report data, including all associated sales data, is retained for 12 months from the date of submission. After that period, it is automatically and permanently deleted by an automated weekly process. No separate CSV file is stored; your sales figures exist only as structured data within your submission record and are removed when the record is deleted.

5. Third-Party Services

NexusHQ uses the following third-party services:

  • Base44 for application hosting and database infrastructure
  • Calendly for scheduling, if you book a call. Calendly's privacy policy applies.

We do not share your business data or sales figures with any of these providers beyond what is necessary to operate the service.

6. Cookies and Tracking

NexusHQ uses minimal cookies required for session management. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

7. Your Rights and Data Requests

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the data we hold about your submission
  • Request correction of inaccurate data

Your submission and all associated data, including sales figures and report results, is automatically and permanently deleted 12 months after the date of submission. You do not need to submit a deletion request.

If you would like your data removed sooner than the 12-month retention period, contact us at lpbservices.com or via the Contact page. Include your email address and business name so we can locate your record. We respond to all requests within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

NexusHQ is not intended for use by persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of NexusHQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
